Program Description

Event Details

If helping your child learn to read feels overwhelming or has become a daily source of stress, you’re not alone. In this workshop, parents will learn why reading is so difficult for some children, what’s happening in the brain beneath the struggle, and what truly helps struggling readers move forward with more confidence and less frustration.

LearningRx uses an alternative, brain-based approach to help students learn, think, and perform better. They offer 1-on-1 customized training for brains of all ages, backed by decades of research.

Events sponsored by the Waynesboro Public Library are open to all and offered at no charge. The Library welcomes people of all abilities. Please alert Rachel McDowell, mcdowellra@ci.waynesboro.va.us, at least ten business days in advance if there is a need for accommodation.
