Purpose of Meeting

Waynesboro’s Community Development Department is holding a public needs meeting to receive input on the city’s new consolidated and annual action plans for Waynesboro’s community development block grant (CDBG) program.

Topics will include

  • An overview of the city’s CDBG program
  • A description of eligible city neighborhoods
  • Information about how the CDBG funds can be spent
  • A discussion of community needs.

Participants will help determine the city’s priority needs for the next five years, and are invited to identify housing and community development needs and gaps in services in Waynesboro.
